- We offer a four-race series.
- 150 MILE
- 180 MILE
- 240 MILE
- 350 MILE
- Accepting birds from February 15th to April 30th.
- Accepting replacement birds before May 30th.
- All birds must be banded with a 2024 seamless band recognized by a National Organization.
- We have a 1,700 birds capacity.
- Birds will be vaccinated for PMV and POX.
- Perch Fee is $100 after the 4th bird or $125 for 1 to 3 birds.
- Entry Fee is $350 per bird, due after the 112 Mile Activation and before the 150 Mile Race.
- 15% will be held for race expenses
- Entry fee will be refunded if the bird is hurt or lost before the 150 Mile Race.
- Prizes will be awarded by clocking order except for the final race.
- The final 350 Mile race will be paid on the first drop and then clocking order.
- Any bird not paid will become the property of Orlando Golden Classic.
- The breeder retains ownership of all activated birds.
- The final race will remain open for 48 hours if no bird is home by the end of this period, all prize funds will be refunded.
- Birds will be returned upon request. Arrangements must be made within 10 days after the last race. Breeder pays post office shipping fees. Non-returned birds become the property of Orlando Golden Classic.
- New shipping boxes have a cost of $10.
- Race participants must be 21 years or older to enter the race and are responsible for all applicable taxes.
- A tax identification number recognized by the IRS (W-9 form) will be required prior to awarding any prizes valued at $600 or more, and such awards will be reported as required by IRS regulations.
- Race dates are subject to change due to weather conditions and the condition of the birds.
- Final prizes will be adjusted according to the final activated birds.
- If rain or wind speed from any direction is over 14 MPH, the loft manager has the option to postpone the race.
- At the final race, our goal is to keep the birds airborne for a total duration of 7 hours.
- The loft manager reserves the right to make all final decisions.
- No pooling or gambling of any type before or during the races, all participants are competing for the capital prize only.
